Ugh, we went car shopping today. We are officially -- what's the word -- oh, I don't even know. We're shopping for a minivan. Don't laugh.
We're in the early stages, of course. P never buys anything on the fly. It's gotta be researched and analyzed and researched some more. It's gotta be the right car, with the right options, the right age, the right mileage, the right safety record, etc. for the right price.
So we've got our work cut out for us. It will be my car to drive, so above all, I have to like it. We looked at one today that was the right everything except the COLOR. It was a horrendous shade of teal that made my eyes hurt to look at it. So despite its perfection in all other areas, we had to say no thanks. It was too ugly.
We know we'll stumble upon the right one some day. Maybe next weekend. Maybe the weekend after that. Maybe months from now. But we won't buy anything that doesn't meet our criteria in all categories.
That's the kind of car shoppers we are.
