It was a blustery day in the 100 acre woods...

It's raining so hard right now. It's been raining solidly since yesterday. It's beating down on our roof, and I can hear it pounding on our skylight.

This is the kind of day that makes me wish I could go back to bed and curl up with P and B and not have to venture out into traffic. I want to stay home and light the fireplace and sip something hot and watch t.v., or sew a blanket, or frame some pictures, or...or anything but drive into Seattle.

But I have work to do. Things piled up on my desk. Emails to answer, phones to answer. Projects to complete. But can't they wait for tomorrow? Do these things have to be done today? That's what I'm struggling with at this moment.

When it's nasty outside, can't we just stay out of it?

No. And that sucks.
