Water fun in the sun

We are all slathered in sunscreen, in our swimsuits, bag packed with towels, sunglasses, and more sunscreen. Within the hour we will be frolicking at the new water park, which recently opened here in our town. The closest one used to be a 30 minute drive away, and cost each of us $30 for the day. Too expensive to do very often. This new park is $7 for residents (us!) and kids 4 and under are FREE! It's not as big and as grand as the other park (or as famous, with that six flag name thingie behind it), but it's got all the important stuff, including a river rafting ride, wave pool, and kiddie swim area. Oh, it's got the big tubes for sliding and those types of things, too, but I doubt P and I will try them out (this time). It's supposed to be around 83 degrees today, which will be perfect.

B is so excited that she's had her swimsuit on since 8 o'clock this morning. 15 minutes and we're out the door.

We're all just a bunch of kids at heart. P and I are excited too!
